The service

LeaseMate is rental administration software for landlords. It helps organize properties, units, tenants, leases, documents, invoices and records of rent payments and receipts. LeaseMate is not a property marketplace, legal adviser, bank or rent-collection service. A landlord records payments received from a tenant; LeaseMate does not collect that rent or hold tenant deposits.

Accounts and authorized use

You must provide accurate account information, keep access to your Google or email sign-in secure, and use the service lawfully. Account owners can invite team members with different access roles and are responsible for managing that access. Do not upload information you lack authority to use or share, interfere with the service, or try to access another account.

Landlords remain responsible for the accuracy of property, tenant, lease and financial information they enter, and for reviewing any generated document before use. Generated material is an administrative aid, not legal or accounting advice.

Subscriptions and charges

LeaseMate does not currently provide an active paid subscription checkout or automatic subscription collection through this website. If paid access is introduced, the price, billing interval, renewal and cancellation terms must be presented before purchase. The Refund Policy and Cancellation Policy explain how to raise questions about any LeaseMate subscription charge. These policies do not govern rent or deposits between a landlord and tenant.

Availability and changes

We may maintain, improve or temporarily interrupt the service. We do not promise uninterrupted availability. We may update these terms as the service changes and will identify the current version on this page. A material change affecting an existing paid arrangement would require appropriate notice and applicable legal rights would remain in force.

Records, privacy and contact

Our Privacy Policy explains how account, tenant and document information is handled. Landlords should retain their own copies of important agreements and financial records. If you have a question about these terms, your account or a possible error, contact hello@leasemate.co. Applicable South African law and mandatory consumer rights are not excluded by these terms.
